Animated Spots for Gustavo Gusto
Anyone who is as passionate about pizza as Gustavo Gusto is constantly thinking about new pizza creations. That’s why the TAKE-OVER Edition was created: limited pizza varieties that go beyond the usual slice — such as the autumnally delicious pumpkin pizza or the schmand-tastic Pizza Flammkuchen. Each new pizza is launched with its own campaign. Gustavo Gusto’s in-house creative team commissioned us to produce the commercials.
The idea: bring the characters on the pizza packaging to life in animation — staging the new variety in short stories that are attention-grabbing, humorous and full of personality.
The moustache is Gustavo Gusto’s trademark and the connecting element between all characters. Since our performers don’t have mouths, the synchronization has to happen entirely through the moustache. So: moustache sync instead of lip sync.
The spots were delivered in different lengths and formats and can be seen as Digital Out of Home as well as across the social web.

In addition, we created high-resolution 3D renderings. They are large enough to look truly delicious even on 18/1 billboards.

At first glance, it may not look like it, but all elements in the videos are 3D. The pumpkin, the jug, the tomato — everything was recreated, textured and animated in detail.
